A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME

I live and breathe to work with all things animal. While I love all types of furry friends, dogs have always had a special place in my heart. Ever since I started working with my second labrador, Sugar, I knew that I had found my passion. Which brings me to why you are here: I am a Balanced Dog Trainer, helping both people and dogs, live their best co-existence lives together.

BALANCED DOG TRAINING

Balanced Dog Training is using different types of tools: training collars, e collars and prong collars, etc, as a way to effectively communicate to our dogs the behaviors that we do not want and the behaviors that we do want. Dogs are visual and touch learners first, and verbal learners last. So using tools provides that touch-like feeling at the exact moment in which our dogs learn best. Once they learn pressure on/pressure off, we can properly communicate with them the best way for their own personal understanding. These tools are always introduced with positive reinforcement, so the dog sees them as the positive things that they are, not something scary like some people may think. When done right, their lives will be much more enjoyable for everyone, humans and dogs alike.

BOARD AND TRAIN

Does your dog constantly whine? Constantly pull on the leash? Run away as soon as you take off the leash? Jump on anyone and everyone? Bark non-stop? You aren't alone. So many owners struggle with all these things and I want nothing more than to help you. At my Board and Train, I will take in your dog for 2-3 weeks and teach the following:

Sit/Down/Place
Leash manners (no pulling)
Heel
E-Collar trained (for off leash walk)
Reliable Recall
Overcome anxieties, fears, and insecurities
Calm greetings

Even though they will be staying with me, you are still very much involved in this process. You will be constantly updated on their progress and will come in for weekly visits to learn, for yourself, how to give them the guidance that they need. And at the end of their stay, your same, lovable, dog will be returned to you, plus manners you have only dreamed of. Graduates of the Board and Train program will also qualify for daycare and boarding.

2 Weeks: $1,300

3 Weeks: $1,800

PRIVATE LESSONS

I do offer private lessons for the owners that only want one or two specific things worked on. In these lessons, I will come to you and teach both owner and dog the basics of the specific commands that they would like to know about.

1 Hour: $110
